Job summary

Target in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Food & Beverage Expert to help create a fresh, full shopping experience for guests. You will support food & beverage standards, assist with replenishment, signing, and inventory, and ensure food safety and accuracy on the sales floor.

Flexibility with hours, ability to work with a team, use handheld scanners, and provide friendly guest service are essential. Training provided, with opportunities to grow skills in operations and merchandising.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology.
• Work independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, ensuring a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage standards.
• Execute processes including deliveries, replenishment, merchandising, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, and storing reserve product.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to set and maintain displays and keep backroom space organized.
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and handle per policies.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available to solve guest issues.
