Job summary

Target is hiring a Food & Beverage Expert to ensure a fresh, in-stock and accurately priced guest experience on the sales floor. You will lead food & beverage operations, assist guests with product information, and support replenishment, signing, and backroom organization.

This role emphasizes guest service, food safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays. Training is provided to build essential skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery Only)
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, and signing.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to set and adjust displays and keep organized backroom space.
