Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts seeks a Director of Food & Beverage for HOTEL PASEO, Autograph Collection in Palm Desert. You will lead all F&B operations, elevate guest experiences, and drive revenue while guiding culinary and service teams in a luxury, boutique setting.

The role requires 5+ years in progressive F&B leadership, with at least 3 years in an executive capacity within high-volume hospitality. Collaboration with hotel leadership ensures strategic success and memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive F&B leadership, incl. 3+ years in an executive role.
• Experience in full-service hotels preferred.
• Strong knowledge of F&B operations, service standards, culinary/beverage programs, and food safety.
• Demonstrated financial acumen with P&L, forecasting, inventory controls, revenue performance, and capex.
• Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
• Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of local market trends and competitive landscape.

What will you be doing?

What do you bring to the role?

• 5+ years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience, including at least 3 years in an executive-level role within high-volume hotel, restaurant, catering, or resort environments
• Experience in full-service hotels preferred
• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including service standards, culinary and beverage programs, and food safety
• Demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls, forecasting, inventory controls, revenue performance, and capital expenditures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and POS systems
• Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement
• Strong understanding of local market trends and competitive landscape
• Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
