Job summary

Round1 Entertainment Inc in Roseville, CA invites you to join our team as a food and beverage team member in a lively bowling/karaoke environment. You will deliver exceptional customer service while supporting bar and food operations, including occasional POS use for payments and lane allocations.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, availability nights/weekends, and compliance with age restrictions for alcohol service.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED to apply.
• Nights and weekend availability preferred.
• Staff who handles alcohol must be 21+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operates POS register for food and drinks (includes bar register when directed).
• Prepares food and beverage items following policy and standards.
• Resets and buses food court seating area.
• Washes and dries dishes, glasses, and other utensils.
• Conducts opening/closing procedures and manages cash tills.
• Maintains food and beverage inventory per store policies.
• Maintains proper refrigerator/freezer temperatures.
• Manages plates, cups and utensils inventory.
• Conducts restroom checks and cleaning.
• Responds to customers politely with a friendly demeanor.
• Occasionally operates POS to collect payments and allocate bowling lanes.
• Occasionally operates POS to collect payments and lend equipment (karaoke, billiards, darts, ping pong).
• Other duties as assigned by Store Management.

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting the operation of the Food and Beverage Department including the bar:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED to apply.
• Nights and weekend availability preferred.
• We require all staff who handles alcohol to be 21+ years of age.

Essential Duties:

• Operates POS register for food and drinks (includes bar register when directed).
• Prepares food and beverage items utilizing the policies and standards of the company.
• Resets and bus the food court seating area.
• Washes and dries dishes, glasses, and other cooking/food prep utensils.
• Conducts all opening and closing procedures. (Opens and closes cash tills, kitchen cleaning, etc.).
• Manages food and beverage inventory by the store’s policies and procedures.
• Maintains proper temperature for refrigerators and freezers.
• Manages plates, cups, and other utensil inventory by the store policies and procedures.
• Conducts restroom checks and cleaning including laundry of rags.
• Responds responsively, and politely with a friendly demeanor to customers’ requests.
• Occasionally Operates POS system to collect payments and allocate bowling lanes.
• Occasionally Operates POS system to collect payments and lends out facility and equipment. (Karaoke, billiards, darts, ping pong).
• Occasionally operates POS system to collect payments and issues cards and credits for arcade (AM).
• Other duties and responsibilities assigned by Store Management.

Non-Essential Duties:

• Conducts alcohol and age restriction control by company policies.
• Conducts lost and found procedures by company policies.
• Seeks constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways and means in department work processes.
• Complies and maintains confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Education/Experience:

• A High School diploma or GED.
• Experience in entertainment or hospitality industries is preferred, but not required.

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces. The employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods without breaks during busy times.
• In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms. Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.
