Levy Restaurants is seeking a Food & Beverage Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting for the location and support leadership in driving financial performance. You will work with operations to translate data into action plans and ensure accurate accounting processes.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in finance/accounting, strong computer skills, and a passion for hospitality. CPA is preferred and experience in food & beverage is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year in a Finance/Accounting role.
• Proven ability to analyze financial information for operations.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support accurate monthly close and financial reporting.
• Assist operations with understanding financial data.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and cash flow reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial improvements.
• Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness.

Job Summary

As the Food & Beverage Accounting Manager you’ll be part of the team responsible for ensuring the accurate management and reporting of the location’s finances – working with the location leadership team to develop action plans to continually drive financial performance. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and dynamic Finance/Accounting professional. They will understand financial concepts and how these relate to operational procedures and outcomes.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Supporting accurate and timely of reporting of financial reporting
• Assisting location operations management teams with understanding and responding to financial information
• Managing all aspects of the administration and reporting of financial information at the location
• Working with operations teams to help them understand financial data and take actions to drive improvements where necessary
• Working closely with partner finance team where applicable
• Supporting in the completion of a monthly close of the general ledger
• Assist with the proactive management of accounts receivable at the location based on the terms of our contractual agreements
• Completing the Monthly Sales Report (MSR) each day and in producing a balanced month end MSR
• Monitoring and managing credit card settlements
• Managing wire transfer requests and subcontractor paymentsManaging an accurate and timely month-end close process
• Supporting budgetary processes including the posting of AP accruals and transfers
• Overseeing the timely collection accounts receivable
• Balancing of direct bills and invoice adjustments
• Proactive management of accounts receivable at the location based on the terms of our contractual agreements
• Ensuring appropriate retention and management of all documentationOther duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills And Experience

• 1+ years in a Finance/Accounting role
• High level of computer literacy
• Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• CPA certification is preferred
• Operational experience in food and beverage is preferred
