Mid-South Food Bank is hiring a Truck Driver in Memphis, TN to safely operate company vehicles and manage loading, delivery, and related paperwork. This role reports to the Transportation Manager and requires CDL, 2+ years of driving, and strong safety discipline.

The driver will follow schedules, maintain logs, and assist with loading/unloading as needed, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety policies. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate a forklift is a plus.

Qualifications

• CDL required and valid.
• Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate a forklift if needed.

Responsabilités

• Operate Mid-South Food Bank vehicles to pick up and deliver products, ensuring proper loading and securing within weight limits.
• Inspect loads against shipping papers and verify inventory contents.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment, report mechanical problems.
• Follow delivery schedules; keep logs and mileage records.
• Report delays or incidents to supervisor via mobile.
• Record cargo and billing statements per regulations.
• Assist in receipting donated product and loading/unloading as needed.
