Job summary

Mid-South Food Bank is seeking a Truck Driver to safely operate company vehicles, load and unload products, and maintain accurate records. You will interact with donors and staff, follow DOT regulations, and help ensure timely deliveries in our Memphis, TN operations.

The role requires a CDL, 2 years of driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Shift is 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Mon–Fri with additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and CDL required.
• Two years driving experience in all weather conditions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate forklift/pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Operate Mid-South Food Bank vehicles to pick up and deliver products, ensuring proper loading and weight limits.
• Inspect inventory loads against shipping papers and maintain vehicle records.
• Perform vehicle inspections and report mechanical problems promptly.
• Maintain records of mileages, logs, and equipment in accordance with regulations.
• Assist in receipting donated product and keep work area clean and safe.
