Job summary

DO & CO in Miami is seeking a Food Assembly Helper to support airline catering operations and banquet service. You will assemble meals, salads, breads and condiments per precise airline specs while maintaining high presentation standards.

Work in a cold or refrigerated environment with a team, ensuring cleanliness and safety. The role includes morning/evening shifts and weekends, with opportunities for growth in a renowned luxury hospitality company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in food production or related.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Experience in cooler/refrigerated environments preferred.
• Proactive and self-organized with strong workload management.
• Capable of working independently and in a team.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable working in cold/freezer-like environments.
• Ability to handle multiple food products (fish, beef, pork, poultry).
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Assemble food items and tray settings in accordance with detailed airline specifications, including components such as hot meals, cold meals, salads, snacks, bread, butter, and condiments.
• Ensure all tray setups are accurately completed and meet quality and presentation standards.
• Follow airline and company guidelines to maintain consistency and customer satisfaction.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations outlined in the food safety management system handbook.
• Report any issues related to food safety or hygiene to the manager and hygiene/food safety team.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
• Assist other team members as needed to ensure efficient production and timely completion of tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Assembly Lead or Supervisor.
