Job Title: Assembler

Department: Production Reports To: Production Supervisor Location: Tucson, AZ – Production Facility Job Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: $15.00/hr

Position Summary

The job of Assembler is responsible for assembling and preparing food products, primarily tamales and burritos, in accordance with established recipes, portion standards, and production procedures. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all products meet Tucson Foods standards for quality, consistency, and food safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble and roll tamales, burritos, and related food items with attention to product specifications
• Operate on a production line to meet daily manufacturing targets and timelines
• Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift
• Identify and report any issues with ingredients, equipment, or procedures to the Production Supervisor
• Assist with other production-related tasks as assigned, including packing or prep work

Qualifications

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and consistency

Preferred

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing (stools are available) and repetitive hand movements required
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs on occasion
• Frequent reaching
• Ability to work in variable temperatures (hot, cold, and humid environments)

Work Environment

This position is based in a commercial food production facility where adherence to food safety standards is required at all times. The environment may be fast-paced and requires focus, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other production team members.
