Corpus Christi Medical Center is seeking a PRN Food and Nutrition Service Associate to support meal preparation, service and sanitation in the hospital Food & Nutrition Department. You will help ensure clean, organized meal areas and timely distribution of meals to patients and staff.

The role emphasizes patient safety, infection control and adherence to privacy guidelines, with a focus on teamwork and service excellence in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of healthcare experience preferred.
• ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department.
• Follow patient safety and infection control practices and HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain required uniform and personal appearance standards at all times.
• Aim to satisfy patients, customers and physicians in daily duties.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Food and Nutrition Food Service Worker I will be a competent Support services employee who is responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist. Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the performance management plan.

• Utilizes systems/processes to ensure patient safety, infection control practices, department security & HIPPA guidelines.
• Maintain and adhere to Food & Nutrition’s uniform and personal appearance standards at all time
• Utilizes proper processes to achieve patient, customer & physician satisfaction goals.
• Foster a culture of commitment to the HCA vision, mission, and values of the organization.

What qualifications you will need

• High School Graduate\Equivalent preferred
• 1 + years of experience in healthcare preferred
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire
