George Dunne National Golf Club in Oak Forest, IL is seeking a part-time Food and Beverage Staff for a seasonal role lasting up to six months. Compensation is $9.00-$9.50 per hour plus tips, with a schedule of 20–30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Confirms beverage cart is fully operational before starting rounds on the course.
• Stocks and cleans beverage cart throughout the day.
• Maintains and exhibits knowledge of proper golf course etiquette.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.
• Serves food and beverage items to guests on the course.
• Responds to customer questions regarding facility information.
• Operates POS system and handles cash transactions, including daily sales reports.
• Communicates guest concerns to management.
• Performs other duties as required.

George Dunne National Golf Club, located in Oak Forest, IL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Food and Beverage Staff! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

$9.00 - $9.50 per hour plus tips

Schedule:

• 20 - 30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

Confirms beverage cart is fully operational before starting rounds on the course.

Stocks and cleans beverage cart throughout the day.

Maintains and exhibits knowledge of proper golf course etiquette.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.

Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.

Serves food and beverage items to guests while on the course.

Responds to customer questions regarding the general information of facility.

Reviews schedules for changes, calendar of events and club activities on a daily basis.

Accountable for all checks and cash transactions that may, at times, may be high volume.

Utilizes Point of Sales system (POS) and creates daily sales reports.

Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Director of Food and Beverage and Chef.

Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Performs other duties as required.

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Must be able to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.

Regular and reliable attendance.

Must work well independently and as part of team.

Must be able to work flexible shifts with a great hospitality-oriented attitude.

Experience preferred but not required.
