Job summary

Arapahoe Basin is seeking a Seasonal F&B Roving Manager to support multiple outlets (Legend's Café and 6th Alley Bar & Grill). As a flexible Front of House Manager, you will cover shifts for other F&B Managers and act as Manager on Duty when needed.

Join a close-knit team at a high-altitude, table-service environment. You will supervise staff, handle open/close duties, payroll support, and ensure legendary service and food quality across outlets during a dynamic ski season.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2 years management or supervisory experience.
• 2 years cash handling experience.
• Prior F&B experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills required for guest interaction.
• Multitasking and time management skills essential.
• Flexibility and adaptability are key.
• Must provide own non-slip footwear.
• Must be available weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, coach, and discipline F&B staff per standards.
• Present on-floor manager coverage for days off.

The F&B Roving Manager at Arapahoe Basin works as a flexible Front of House Manager to help assist other F&B Managers when they need coverage in their F&B outlet.

This position would act as Manager on Duty when needed for the following F&B locations: Legend's Café and 6th Alley Bar & Grill.

Wage

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Arapahoe Basin's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, and responsibilities. The range listed is just one component of Arapahoe Basin's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.

Hourly pay range: $24.25 - 35.25/hour

Supervisory Duties

• Supervise, train, coach, and discipline F&B staff in accordance with A-Basin standards.
• Present, on-floor manager, covers outlet manager's days off
• Works with F&B managers on scheduling and day-to-day management including processing payroll for any F&B Staff in absence of Manager

Essential Duties

• Interacts positively with customers to ensure they are receiving the best food product/experience and works well with all other F&B staff and other A-Basin staff
• Responsible for open and close of various F&B outlets that serve breakfast and/ or lunch including but not limited to labor management, securing building, and daily reconciliation of registers
• Monitors staff for service standards set forth my F&B management team in regards to cashiering, bussing, hosting and serving tables
• Ensures completion of daily and weekly cleaning checklists
• Ensures upkeep and maintenance of vacuums, drink machines, reach in coolers and other related appliances
• Works closely with F&B management team to ensure consistent message to staff
• Holds staff accountable for operational standards including attendance, grooming, task list, and overall service level
• Help execute group functions in any of the F&B locations including set up, tear down, serving, and collecting payment for event
• Help to achieve company wide sustainability goals through proper management of daily bussing duties so that all trash, recycling and compost are sorted into the correct receptacle
• Fulfill duties of Café Team Members and other F&B staff when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner

Physical Requirements

• Use full range of body motion: bend, twist, kneel, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and walk for 8 hours.
• Able to walk up and down stairs throughout shift.
• Withstand high altitude conditions at all times.

Working Conditions

• You will work in a table service restaurant environment with most time spent working indoors in a high-altitude environment. Some outside work in a cold and snowy environment is possible on any given day. Most work is performed in a highly trafficked area in view of guests. A very frequent amount of high-volume guest interaction is involved in this role.
