Job summary

MetroLagoons, Florida, seeks an experienced F&B Manager to oversee daily Food and Beverage operations across resort lagoons. You will supervise staff, manage scheduling, and ensure safety and high service standards.

The ideal candidate has culinary and management experience, excellent communication, and proven leadership with a focus on hospitality, inventory control, and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Maintain ServSafe and Food Handling Management Certification.
• Experience in managing food and beverage service is preferred.
• Excellent communication with Guests, Managers and Team Members.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable.
• Must be available to work mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team; promote and ensure great hospitality.
• Assist Food and Beverage Assistant General Manager and other management team members and the support staff.
• Ensure food quality by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, storage, sanitation of food products.
• Manage inventory efficiently, accurately, and in a cost‑effective manner.
• Manage kitchen operations during scheduled shifts that include daily decision‑making, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality, and cleanliness.
• Demonstrate responsibility for purchasing, receiving, and storing food products, inspection of local suppliers, use of correct products and proper par levels.
• Understand all kitchen equipment operations and preventive maintenance.
• Stay compliant with food labor and sanitation laws.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Summary

As F&B Manager you will oversee the daily operations for the Food and Beverage department of MetroLagoons. The goal is to ensure aspects of the Food and Beverage department run smoothly and comply with safety regulations. Responsible for overseeing food preparation, ordering supplies, scheduling shifts, and monitoring inventory levels.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have proven culinary and management experience. In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should also demonstrate outstanding leadership and organizational abilities.
