The role emphasizes leadership, cost control, guest satisfaction, and guest-facing participation in events, with a focus on maintaining top-tier service standards.

Qualifications

• Managerial experience in food & beverage, including luxury resort exposure.
• Excellent command of English with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work up to 10 hours daily as business needs dictate.
• Deep knowledge of F&B and hotel services/facilities.
• Computer literacy with Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with F&B leadership to optimize costs and profits, delivering unique dining experiences.
• Maintain the resort's leading market position in dining.
• Analyze operations, identify improvements, and implement solutions with the team.
• Act as Cheeca ambassador at special events and promotions.
• Stay informed on industry trends and apply innovative ideas to the resort.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Oversee guest satisfaction with food quality and presentation.
• Lead staff management: hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining per policy.
• Foster clear internal communication and regular team briefings.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Cheeca Lodge & Spa, a luxurious resort in the heart of Islamorada, invites you to join our team as a Restaurant Manager. Our Restaurant Managers work as a team to oversee the restaurant operations of one of our renowned dining venues – Atlantic Edge, Mia Cucina, or Nikai. This role is crucial in driving our commitment to culinary excellence and unparalleled guest service in a luxury resort setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Director and Assistant Director of F&B to optimize costs, enhance profits, and ensure unique and current dining experiences.
• Secure the restaurant’s leading position in the competitive market.
• Analyze operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with the Director of F&B and staff to implement effective solutions.
• Serve as a key ambassador for Cheeca, actively participating in special events and promotions.
• Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas to benefit the resort.
• Ensure adherence to the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and hygiene.
• Oversee guest satisfaction, ensuring excellent food quality and presentation.
• Manage all aspects of staff management, including hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining in accordance with resort policies.
• Facilitate effective communication within the team and conduct regular team briefings.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Managerial experience in food and beverage, including luxury resort experience.
• Excellent command of English with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work up to 10 hours a day as business needs dictate.
• Profound knowledge of food and beverage, and a thorough understanding of hotel services and facilities.
• Computer literate, with preferred skills in Excel.
