Qualifications

  • Set and model service standards that prioritize the member experience while maintaining efficiency and consistency.
  • Gain team buy-in around service expectations, new initiatives, and evolving club priorities.
  • Address member feedback promptly and constructively, using insights to improve service delivery.
  • Schedule and deploy staff to meet service demands while maintaining a high level of member engagement.
  • Train and develop team members on hospitality standards, communication skills, and service recovery.
  • Collaborate with culinary, events, and club operations teams to ensure a seamless member experience.
  • Maintain compliance with alcohol laws, safety standards, and club policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adapt service strategies quickly in response to changing member expectations or business needs.
  • Interact effectively and professionally with all other departments.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by the Food and Beverage Director and Director of Club Operations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Minimum of two (2) years previous supervisory experience.
  • Must have previous server experience
  • Alcohol awareness certification a plus
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
  • Knowledgeable of all liquor laws as well as company and departmental policies regarding consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
  • Professional in demeanor and presentation
  • Personable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Basic mathematical skills, handle money and give correct change.
  • Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
  • Must present a neat and professional appearance.
  • Work requires interactions with customers, public and co-workers.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with the menus, ingredients and methods of preparation for each dish served as well as the drink menu, wine list, and hours of operation for all food and beverage outlets.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant interaction with staff and public.
  • Must be flexible to any work shifts - days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Shifts may vary based on business needs.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours +, and or walk continuously to perform essential job functions throughout shift both indoors and outdoors with varying weather conditions.
  • You must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law.
  • Must be able to handle intoxicated guests in a professional manner. Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
  • Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:
  • bending, twisting, crouching or kneeling
  • moving furniture, equipment and heavy objects weighing up to 30 lbs with/without assistance
  • pushing or pulling objects weighing up to 60 lbs with assistance.
  • walking and standing for extended periods of time
  • operating assigned equipment
  • Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise.
  • Constant Communication with employees, management and Club members.
