Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• At least two years of hospitality experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers or stakeholders.
• Must be available for days, nights, weekends and holidays during service operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all departmental personnel with strong leadership.
• Complete department schedules.
• Plan, assign, and direct department tasks and projects as needed.

• Manage beverage and bar inventory, ordering, purchasing, and issuing supplies.

The Legacy Hotel is currently seeking full-time Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to join their team in Medina, Ohio!

The Legacy Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott, is set to open this Fall and will redefine hospitality in Medina, Ohio. Featuring 77 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites, thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, and multiple distinctive food and beverage venues, this upscale property will be a landmark destination celebrating Medina’s culture, history, and community.

As we prepare for opening, we are assembling a high-impact team to establish the culture, service standards, and operational discipline that will define the hotel from day one. We are seeking a proven, strategic, and guest-driven Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to help lead the pre-opening phase and launch this property as the premier hospitality destination in the region.

The right candidate will have:

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
• At least two years of hospitality experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
• F&B Assistant Manager must be available for days, nights, weekends, and holidays to support the team during service operations.
• Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisors, clients, staff, vendors, etc.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• Proficiency in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. This role requires an average knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to monitor/assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action
• Identifies customer needs and explains services clearly
• Patience and understanding while handling difficult situations
• Ability to work within approved budget

Our Food and Beverage Assistant Manager will:
