The Legacy Hotel in Medina, Ohio is opening soon and seeks a Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to lead pre-opening and launch activities. The role supports four on-site venues and will help establish service standards and operational discipline for this landmark property.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• At least two years of hospitality experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers or stakeholders.
• Must be available for days, nights, weekends and holidays during service operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all departmental personnel with strong leadership.
• Complete department schedules.
• Plan, assign, and direct department tasks and projects as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of company and brand standards.
• Manage beverage and bar inventory, ordering, purchasing, and issuing supplies.
• Participate in menu development.
• Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of dining and bar areas.
• Ensure proper payment handling procedures are maintained.
