Job summary

SG360 is hiring Folding/Imaging Mechanics for 1st and 3rd shifts in Wheeling, IL. You will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain folding and imaging equipment as part of the print production process.

The role emphasizes high-quality output, safety adherence, and supporting teammates in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 2 years' experience and strong mechanical aptitude are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of folding and imaging equipment experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate folding and imaging equipment, including feeders, counters, glue systems, inkjet heads, and camera systems.
• Perform routine setup tasks and load inkjet files.
• Build and adjust inkjet and camera system setups, including file management.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and complete minor repairs.
• Collaborate with operators, feeders, and catchers to ensure proper loading, production, and packing of products.
• Aim to exceed target production rates while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor quality control systems and escalate issues as needed.
• Train team members on machine setup, safety procedures and best practices.
• Maintain accurate production documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with SG360 policies and OSHA regulations.
