Job summary

Oliver Inc. is seeking an experienced Folding-Gluer Operator for the 2nd shift in our finishing department. You will independently set up and run folding-gluer lines, fine-tune glue systems, and verify cartons meet customer specs.

The role requires reading job tickets, using calipers and gauges, and performing routine maintenance while maintaining strict safety standards. Competitive pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Folding-Gluer Operator in printing or packaging preferred.
• Direct experience with Bobst or similar folding-gluer platforms highly preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot equipment and quality concerns.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up, fine-tune, and run folding-gluer equipment to specs.
• Prepare feeder, glue systems, plow/fold plates, and inspection devices.
• Dial in folding sequence, glue application, board thickness, and score alignment.
• Operate automated inspection for quality control and adjust as needed.
• Track quality, perform routine preventive maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Interpret job tickets and layouts and verify schedules and inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and champion safety initiatives.
