Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Folder Gluer Operator in Sanford, NC on 2nd shift to set up and run folding carton equipment, ensure quality, and meet production targets. The role is on-site with full-time permanence.

You will review tickets, adjust settings, monitor runs, perform quality checks, and maintain safety and housekeeping while collaborating with the quality, maintenance, and production teams.

Qualifications

• Experience operating folder gluer equipment strongly preferred.
• Folding carton, packaging, or printing experience is a major plus.
• Experience with Bobst, Heidelberg, or similar folder gluers is valuable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to make machine adjustments.
• Ability to read job specifications and follow detailed production instructions.
• Strong attention to quality and detail.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate folder gluer equipment to produce folding cartons and other packaging materials.
• Review job tickets, specifications, and production requirements before each run.
• Load materials and adjust machine settings for proper folding, gluing, alignment, and finishing.
• Monitor equipment throughout production runs and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical and production issues.
• Minimize waste, downtime, and quality defects.
• Complete production documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work closely with quality, maintenance, and production team members.
