Job summary

Candidates should have experience with Heidelberg Stahlfolder or similar machines, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to keep production accurate and efficient.

The role offers 2nd and 3rd shift options, with 12% or 15% shift differentials, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of paper handling and folding processes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specifications.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Good visual accuracy and basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a production environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate commercial folding machines.
• Review job tickets, production specifications, and folding requirements.
• Adjust side guides, blades, rollers, tension screws, and creasing blades.
• Operate equipment to fold, slit, score, and crease printed sheets.
• Monitor folding accuracy and finished product quality throughout production.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and production issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and machine adjustments.
• Inspect finished products to identify defects and reduce waste.
• Stack, pack, and prepare finished materials for the next production stage.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
