Job summary

Quad Packaging in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Folder/Gluer Operator to join our growing team. The 8-hour day shift runs 6 am–2 pm, with initial training in Franklin, WI and Spartanburg, SC.

This role involves setting up and operating folder/gluer equipment to fold, glue, and affix inserts, outserts, security tags, and labels on pre-printed stock, ensuring production output meets customer specs, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Folding/gluing machinery experience required or strong aptitude to learn.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot folding/gluing equipment.
• Familiarity with production workflows and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor folder/gluer machines during production runs.
• Activate and control production processes; adjust machine settings for quality/efficiency.
• Synchronize machine speed to maximize output and meet targets.
• Perform preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Record production data (time, quantities, job info).
• Train others on machine operations as needed.
• Cross-train on other equipment as assigned.
• Follow safety, quality, and procedures.
