Qualifications

• Experience operating folder gluer or similar packaging machinery, including setup, changeovers, and basic mechanical adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail, quality inspection skills, and ability to read job tickets, specifications, and basic production documentation.
• Understanding of manufacturing safety practices, lockout/tagout awareness, and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Basic math and measurement skills, including use of gauges, rulers, and other tools to verify dimensions and alignment.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods and work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and coordinate with press, packing, and maintenance personnel.
• Prior experience in corrugated, paperboard, or packaging manufacturing is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial; vocational or technical training in industrial or mechanical fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor folder gluer equipment to produce corrugated and paperboard packaging.
• Prepare materials, make machine adjustments, and perform quality inspections to meet specifications and production standards.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and ensure proper glue application and accurate folding and packing.
• Document production data and communicate equipment or quality concerns to supervision.
• Collaborate with production team to meet schedule and efficiency goals; follow safety procedures.
• Support routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment and participate in continuous improvement on the floor.
