Job summary

Jobot is partnering with a growing manufacturer in the pharmaceutical packaging industry in Sanford, NC to hire an experienced Folder Gluer Operator. You will set up and operate folder gluer equipment to produce folding cartons, review specs, load materials, and monitor production for quality and efficiency.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read detailed job tickets, and experience with folder gluers. Benefit-rich environment with 2nd shift and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate folder gluer equipment to produce folding cartons and packaging materials.

• Monitor equipment and make necessary adjustments during runs.
• Perform routine quality checks and minimize waste and defects.
• Complete production documentation accurately.

Folder Gluer Operator with industry leader / $25- $28 an hour depending on experience / Great Benefits and Room for Growth

We are partnering with a well-established, growing manufacturer in the pharmaceutical packaging and printing industry that is looking to add an experienced Folder Gluer Operator to its Sanford, NC facility.

Salary

$25 - $35 per hour

Job Details

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate folder gluer equipment to produce folding cartons and other packaging materials
• Review job tickets, specifications, and production requirements before each run
• Load materials and adjust machine settings for proper folding, gluing, alignment, and finishing
• Monitor equipment throughout production runs and make adjustments as needed
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical and production issues
• Minimize waste, downtime, and quality defects
• Complete production documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Work closely with quality, maintenance, and production team members

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience operating folder gluer equipment strongly preferred
• Folding carton, commercial printing, packaging, or converting experience is a major plus
• Experience with equipment such as Bobst, Heidelberg, or similar folder gluers is valuable
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to make machine adjustments
• Ability to read job specifications and follow detailed production instructions
• Strong attention to quality and detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team
