Job summary

York Container in York County, PA is seeking a motivated Folder Gluer Floater to support multiple presses. You will assist setup, run machines, and focus on minimizing downtime while delivering quality corrugated products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years corrugated or related manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist operator in setup and running of the machine.
• Maintain safety and limit scrap waste.
• Deliver scrap waste to proper department when scrap truck is full.
• Pack products for shipment per individual orders.
• Learn and practice lock out/tag out procedures.
• Read and understand production orders and assist operator in ensuring quality.
• Understand machine mechanical functionality and perform in-depth cleaning of press when scheduled.
• Run press in case of operator unavailability.
