York Container in York County, PA is seeking a Press Operator to assist in setting up and running a high-speed press. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, reducing setup times, and ensuring a quality product for customers.

Responsibilities include operating the press when needed, maintaining safety by following lockout/tagout procedures, reporting production data, and supporting the team with basic corrugated terminology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years corrugated experience preferred.
• Able to read production orders and understand corrugated terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and running of the press to minimize downtime.
• Limit scrap and tag waste for reporting.
• Collect top and bottom sheets to expedite converting.
• Pack products for shipment per orders.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Read and understand production orders; assist in ensuring quality.
• Maintain machine and perform cleaning as scheduled.
• Follow CTI/HRMS reporting processes.
