Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in PA is seeking a Foil Operator to safely and efficiently run the Carle & Montanari foiling machines, ensure proper wrapping, maintain accurate documentation, and support daily production goals.

This full-time, 3rd shift position offers hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for growth and teamwork focused on quality and safety. Location: Womelsdorf, PA.

Qualifications

• Ability to keep up with fast-paced conveyor lines.
• Attention to identify quality issues and follow procedures.
• Ability to understand and follow standard procedures.
• Ability to identify words and numbers.
• Ability to notify machine operators or supervisor of production problems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Carle & Montanari foiling machines for safe and efficient startup.
• Load and align products into the feeder track using jog function.
• Thread and align wrapping foil through the feeder system to ensure proper placement.
• Start the machine and continuously monitor product feeding and wrapping processes for accuracy and consistency.
• Perform and record all required quality checks, ensuring data is accurate and submitted on time.
• Keep foiling fingers and wrapper guides clean and free from chocolate buildup to maintain wrap quality.
• Communicate machine downtime and causes clearly to management.
• Verify correct foil, bagger film, and legible date codes for scheduled production runs.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety protocols.
• Take ownership of equipment by cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating as needed throughout the shift.
• Power down the line at shift end and submit all completed paperwork to the Supervisor or Group Lead.
• Attend all required meetings on time and comply with plant attendance guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support a safe, clean, and efficient production environment.

About the Role

The Foil Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Carle & Montanari foiling machines. This role ensures consistent product flow, quality wrapping, accurate documentation, and proper maintenance of equipment while supporting overall production goals.

• Prepare Carle & Montanari foiling machines for safe and efficientstartup.
• Load and align products into the feeder track usingjogfunction.
