Job summary

American Technology Solutions International Corp. (ATSI) is seeking a FOIA Analyst to review, analyze, and respond to FOIA cases in Washington, DC. You will assess responsive records, apply exemptions to protect privacy and confidential information, and process backlog or new requests, including highly visible/time-sensitive cases.

The role requires a strong background in FOIA processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and with leadership to drive timely results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• At least five (5) years of work experience with demonstrated skills, reputation, and experience providing project and program support.
• Professional experience with demonstrated expertise in the review and handling of FOIA cases preferred.
• Experience with eDiscovery/Relativity preferred.
• Demonstrated professional experience producing timely results.
• Ability to pass a Public Trust background investigation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Power‑Point.
• Effective at working independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to complete tasks fast and accurately with minimal supervision.
• Ability to track and follow through on projects to completion.
• Superior organization and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and respond to FOIA cases.
• Review responsive records and apply statutory exemptions to protect sensitive information.
• Process backlog and new FOIA requests, including time-sensitive cases.
• Provide recommendations to leadership on disclosure decisions.
