Position Summary
The Kith – Sadelle's Shift Supervisor assists the Area Manager in planning and directing the day‑to‑day operations of the cafe. They lead and supervise the team to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability. The Shift Supervisor is also expected to maintain store standards and conditions and foster a positive environment, ensuring customers' needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. The Shift Supervisor ensures all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Guide processes and complete work based on management direction for functional areas within the store.
- Act as the Manager on Duty for assigned shifts.
- In the absence of the Area Manager, communicate & partner with Retail Leadership to ensure complete alignment between the Retail and Cafe teams.
- Ensure consistency of operational processes and execution.
- Adhere to all Kith and Kith – Cafe Policies and ensure compliance by all team members.
- Oversee and participate in cleaning and maintaining industrial kitchen equipment.
- Assist the management team to achieve performance goals and execute standard operating procedures.
- Support store management to ensure work tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Execute initiatives designed to drive customer satisfaction and business efficiencies.
- Read communications and interact with store management to be knowledgeable of all current initiatives, priorities, and business metrics.
- Act on direction from the Area Manager and collaborate effectively with employees.
- Guide work activities during the day, inclusive of before and after normal store operating hours, when a manager may not be present.
- Assist the restaurant's management team with housekeeping responsibilities including dusting, sweeping, collection of trash, and other tasks traditionally associated with standard food & beverage operations.
Special Projects / Tasks
- Help audit overall cleanliness and hygienic standards of storefront, food prep, and storage areas to ensure compliance with any Food Safety Laws & Requirements.
- Assist in the execution of any in‑store or off‑site activations.
Requirements
- Availability: Open & flexible availability, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays; consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as business needs require.
- Valid ServSafe or Food Handlers certificate or equivalent is required.
- Experience: 1‑2 years of management experience in a customer‑facing role; 1 year of Food & Beverage experience.

- Ability to perform standard tasks related to retail operations including bending, twisting, climbing ladders/step stools.
