Job summary

Parfait Paris in Mission Hills, San Diego, seeks an enthusiastic Front of House shift lead for part-time hours (16–30 hrs). You will welcome guests, assist with menus, and manage transactions with a friendly, reliable approach.

Prior hospitality or food service experience, plus at least one experience as shift lead, is preferred. Wage starts at $18/hour plus tips, with typical earnings including tips averaging, and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Basic math proficiency for handling cash and transactions.
• Keen eye for detail in orders, errors, and accuracy.
• Clear, friendly communication with customers and team members.
• Outgoing, reliable team member with strong work ethic.

• Experience in hospitality or food service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and bid farewell to guests.
• Encourage upsell of French cuisines and desserts to increase sales.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Open and close the front-of-house operations as scheduled.
• Place end-of-day orders on online platforms.
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues professionally.
• Demonstrate barista skills for drinks and basic cafe items.
• Prepare crepes and sandwiches for service.
• Maintain a positive and welcoming dining atmosphere.
