Job summary

Moxie Bread Co. is seeking an experienced FOH Lead in Colorado to oversee our front-of-house operations and drive exceptional customer service.

You will manage the team, coordinate events, and ensure a welcoming store environment that reflects our values. You will lead inventory and supply chain activities, collaborate with the events team, and promote quality experiences while maintaining efficient labor and merchandising standards.

• Oversee events, including live music, space rentals, and staff gatherings; coordinate with Events team.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced FOH Lead to lead our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, ensuring the highest level of excellence in customer service, team management, and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead by example and set a high standard for excellence within the team.
• Foster a positive team environment by providing support to team members and acknowledging their achievements.
• Implement effective communication channels, such as Slack and text, to ensure that employees receive timely and necessary information.

2. Customer Satisfaction:

• Oversee the team's efforts to ensure exceptional customer experiences, including product recommendations and accommodating special customer requests.

3. Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute strategies to achieve key store goals, including sales targets, effective merchandising strategies, and improvements in both team and customer experiences. Having a keen sense of where sales are at, how to adjust for seasonality, and what is needed to keep sales up and labor down.

4. Store Environment Management:

• Ensure the maintenance of an authentic store environment aligned with current design layouts.
• Oversee initiatives to improve sales through thoughtful analysis of merchandising best practices, display management, and sales projects.

5. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

• Lead inventory processes, including product inventory review, effective communication, and actions aimed at maximizing sales while minimizing waste.
• Take a hands-on role in ordering and stocking essential items in the shop, including bar ingredients, retail goods, packaging, beverages, and general shop needs.

6. Event Coordination Oversight:

• Manage and oversee all events hosted by the organization, including live music events, space rentals, and staff gatherings.
• Collaborate with the Events and Community Coordinator/Assistant Lead to ensure successful event booking, promotion, staffing, and logistics.

• Strong communication, team building, and motivational skills.
• Knowledge of product recommendations, inventory management, and event coordination.
• Strategic thinking and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.

As the Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the overall success of our organization by providing strong leadership, fostering a positive team environment, and ensuring excellence in customer service, event management, and social media representation. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction and community engagement.

Compensation:

$18-$20/hour + tips

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
