Position Purpose

This role involves welcoming, greeting, and seating guests, ensuring their needs are met during their wait.

Key Responsibilities

1. Greet guests promptly and courteously, seat guests according to management’s assignment.
2. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with colleagues and managers.
3. Answer phones, provide information, and handle reservations.
4. Assist with table resets and opening tasks such as maintaining table arrangements and cleanliness.
5. Handle guest complaints and special requests as needed.
6. If assigned to coat check, manage coats, umbrellas, and bags efficiently.
7. Support other duties assigned by management.
8. Follow opening and closing procedures.
9. Maintain professionalism with all staff.
10. Assist with service steps, including food delivery.
11. Be available to answer guest and reservation questions.
12. Follow service standards outlined in training manuals.

Minimum Essential Requirements

1. Ability to work as part of a team and maintain personal cleanliness.
2. Basic food handling, preparation, and cleaning skills are a plus.
3. Effective communication skills in English.
4. Time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
5. Active listening and learning skills.
6. Reading and speaking comprehension.
