Job summary

Lotus of Siam is seeking an upbeat Host to welcome guests, guide them to seating, and coordinate with the team to ensure a smooth and exceptional dining experience. You will manage reservations, answer inquiries, and maintain a welcoming front-of-house area.

We value a friendly, energetic attitude, the ability to work weekends and holidays, and a commitment to guest satisfaction. A Food Handler Safety Card is required in Nevada. Competitive benefits are offered for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Prior host experience preferred.
• Able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule; ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide to their table.
• Assist guests to their seats and answer questions.
• Answer phones, take reservations, and relay information to kitchen/management.
• Maintain clean, updated menus and organized host area.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth seating flow and guest satisfaction.

Position Summary

Host will be responsible for welcoming, greeting and seating guests in a gracious, accommodating, and professional manner, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a welcoming smile, and in a professional manner.
• Assist guests to their table.
• Answer phones and take reservations and answer any guest inquiries.
• Give the kitchen and management daily reservation sheet.
• Maintain that menus are clean, current and remove from circulation any menus in poor condition.
• Keep host area clean and organized.
• Must have Food Handler Safety Card in Nevada.
• Reports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
• Assist other areas of the restaurant when necessary.
• All other duties as assigned.
