Veolia is seeking a dedicated FOG Operator to support the FOG management program at the Danbury Wastewater Treatment Plant. The role involves offloading grease trucks, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in a dynamic plant environment.
Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, experience in wastewater or industrial settings, and a valid driver’s license. The position is on-site with outdoor/indoor work and exposure to odors and weather conditions.
Position Purpose:
Veolia is seeking a dedicated FOG Operator to support the Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) management program at the Danbury Wastewater Treatment Plant. The successful candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant handling of FOG materials received from haulers, while maintaining related equipment, tanks, and facilities. This role is critical to preventing FOG-related problems in the collection system and treatment processes, supporting overall plant operations and environmental compliance.
