Job summary

Winslow Unified School Dist 1 is seeking a Paraprofessional to support at-risk students in the Focus Zone, providing a safe, academic environment and assisting with behavior support under supervision.

You will collect data, maintain records of student contacts, collaborate with principals, teachers, nurses and counselors, and participate in meetings and professional development to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or ParaPro test score required.
• Experience working with at-risk students.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Keeps records of all student contacts.
• Data collection and analysis of behavior data.
• Assists in parent involvement activities.
• Assists in devising strategies based on student needs.
• Supervises and assists the student in classroom settings.
• Participates in district and school meetings and professional development.
