Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred or combination of equivalent work experience and education.
• Experience in foam manufacturing, chemical processing, automotive manufacturing, or related production environment.
• Experience with process control systems, HMIs, data collection, and quality systems.
• Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Project; create spreadsheets/databases; familiar with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Verify startup readiness by confirming chemical inventories, HMI communication, equipment functionality, and line readiness.
• Ensure compliance with process control plans, operating procedures, safety requirements, and 5S standards.
• Develop and execute TPM action plans, support maintenance activities, and coordinate with Maintenance and Operations on equipment/process issues.
• Analyze production data, lead density and scrap reduction initiatives, and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions while providing leadership and direction to hourly team members as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
