Job summary

FXI is seeking a Pour Line Operator for its High Point facility. You will operate and monitor equipment to mix and pour polyurethane foam products, ensuring quality and safety throughout the process.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and comfort working around chemicals and machinery. You will collaborate with the Pour Line Lead and Manager, perform inspections, manage materials, and maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude required.
• Ability to understand mixing ratios and follow production formulas.
• Attention to detail and strong quality awareness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as required.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up film and prepare pour tunnel for each scheduled pour.
• Perform visual inspections during pour, monitor gauges and pumps.
• Run pour-skis to establish bun height during pours.
• Report any defects during pouring process.
• Measure and document foam products; safely cut scrap foam blocks.
• Maneuver foam material with industrial equipment; ensure clean, safe pour head and line.
