Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group is seeking a Gun Runner (Foamer) to install flotation foam in boats per engineering blueprints and specifications. The role requires precision, reading prints, and safe operation of foam application equipment to meet buoyancy standards.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, drilling foam holes, mixing and shooting foam, and calibrating foam guns for consistent output. Candidates should have basic math skills, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and thrive in a safety‑minded

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings.
• Strong basic math skills (measurement, timing, volume calculations).
• Mechanical aptitude with drills, foam guns, and hand tools.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and work in confined spaces.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Manufacturing or marine experience preferred; training provided.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow precise instructions.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Comfort working with chemicals and industrial equipment.
• Team‑oriented with good communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to locate foam placements.
• Drill foam holes in designated areas per print specifications.
• Mix and shoot flotation foam using a foam gun.
• Calculate foam volumes and shot timing from blueprints.
• Calibrate and adjust foam guns for consistent output.
• Perform basic math to verify foam ratios and quantities.
• Inspect foam fill for completeness and quality, fix deficiencies.
• Maintain clean work area and follow PPE rules.
• Communicate issues to supervisors or quality staff.
