Job summary

Pelican Products is hiring a Foam Assembler in South Deerfield, MA. You will assemble foam inserts and cushioning solutions, interpret drawings and BOMs, and ensure quality in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualified applicants typically have 1–2 years of manufacturing/assembly experience, can read a tape measure, and follow work instructions with attention to detail. Strong teamwork and mechanical aptitude are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of manufacturing/assembly experience.
• Ability to accurately use and read a tape measure.
• Read and follow drawings, specs and work instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow part drawings, BOMs, assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Assemble foam sub-components and inserts for customer requirements.
• Operate fabrication equipment including saws, water jet and die cutting equipment.
• Inspect foam components and completed assemblies for quality.
