Job summary

University of West Florida (SoN) in Pensacola, FL seeks a qualified clinician-educator for the MSN Family Nurse Practitioner program as FNP Program Director. This 12-month, full-time role is non-tenure eligible and will involve teaching in classroom and clinical settings across campus and partner sites.

The position requires doctoral-level study, an active Florida APRN license, FNP certification, and at least three years of FNP practice. Leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in nursing, education, or health-related field from an accredited institution; nursing master’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted Florida APRN license or eligibility for licensure as an APRN in Florida.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Three years’ work experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Teach the MSN FNP program in classroom and clinical settings on the Pensacola campus and at local community partner locations.
• May be assigned to teach in other SoN programs as needed.
