Job summary

South College Online Campus seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Program Coordinator to join the Graduate Nursing Team! Joining as a faculty member, you will oversee specialty class content, collaborate with the Associate Dean on operations and curriculum, and guide adjunct faculty through program development and practicum preparation to support online learners nationwide.

The role requires a Doctorate or terminal degree, 3 years of supervisory experience in academia, and current RN licensure

Qualifications

• Doctorate/terminal degree in nursing or related discipline.
• 3 years direct supervisory experience in an academic setting.
• Current RN license and FNP certification; national certification in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert for specialty classes with oversight of content in courses in specific tracks.
• Participate in quality review of curriculum updates aligned with accreditation and South College initiatives.
• Lead weekly 1:1 meetings with Associate Dean to review operations, curriculum, faculty and student issues.
• Develop adjunct faculty teaching across designated program courses and implement program development plans.
• Coordinate practicum prep with Associate Dean and Administrative Coordinator, including preceptor credentialing and changes.
• Review all practicum preceptor assignments and manage site challenges.
• Conduct quarterly virtual site reviews with clinical partners/facilities.
• Contribute to interviews for new adjuncts and oversee admissions where required.
• Attend Program Coordinator meetings and participate in strategic departmental plans.
• Collaborate on curriculum changes with instructional design and ensure alignment with outcomes.
• Coordinate course resources (APEA, library, software) to improve learning outcomes.
• Maintain weekly communications with adjuncts to uphold standards and update technology.
