FamilyCare Health Centers is hiring a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at our Cross Lanes site to cover pediatric walk-ins, offering evening and weekend hours. This position can be full time or part time and offers flexible scheduling.
Physical Requirements:
The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop and reach. The employee must frequently lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 40 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
Qualifications:
Registered nurse with valid West Virginia license and recognized by the WV Board of Examiners for Registered Nurses as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). If eligible, holds Prescriptive Authority through the WV Board of Examiners for Registered Nurses.
Basic Function:
Responsible for the provision of a full range of primary care health services, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness in pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence, preventive and well child care. Nurse Practitioners are expected to manage all patients and conditions within the scope of their training.
