Job summary

ACET, Incorporated is seeking a Journeyman Foreign Military Sales Analyst to support NAS Norfolk, VA. The role focuses on executing and managing FMS casework for international defense cooperation, under Case Managers and Program Leads, ensuring compliance with AECA, SAMM, and ITAR.

The candidate will analyze case data, coordinate with engineering, logistics, and finance, and develop P&A data, LOAs, and status briefs to sustain global aviation programs.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
• 3–10 years of direct experience in DoD acquisition, financial tracking, international programs, or security cooperation management.
• Solid understanding of SAMM, ITAR, and NAVAIR international program structures.
• Strong analytical capabilities, excellent interpersonal communication, high attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Contribute directly to the Case Manager, Program Managers, and Team Leads to streamline FMS lifecycles from inception to closure.
• Analyze and manage FMS casework per AECA, SAMM, and ITAR.
• Cross-reference objectives with DoD acquisition policy guidance to align with program milestones.
• Partner with cross-functional Security Cooperation team members to track action items and resolve bottlenecks.
• Gather, organize, and interpret international program data to support price/availability data, LOAs, and status briefs.
