Job summary

Lingo Staffing is hiring a Welder/Fitter for its Roanoke, VA partner on 2nd shift. The role features Fluxcore welding and fabrication experience, with a pay rate of $26/hour and a Monday-Thursday schedule 3:30pm-3:00am, with weekends/overtime as required.

You will read blueprints, weld to AWS symbols, fit components, and inspect welds to meet quality standards in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates must pass written and hands-on tests on site and be able to lift 50-100 lbs and work

Qualifications

• Experience Fluxcore welding (1/16") on sheet metal and structural components.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols.
• Must pass written and hands-on welding tests at client site.
• Able to lift 50-100 lbs repeatedly.
• Experience working in non-climate-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform Fluxcore welding on metal parts as specified.
• Fit and assemble components per drawings and specs.
• Interpret AWS weld symbols accurately.
• Operate welding equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welds for quality, integrity, and production standards.
• Maintain productivity and safety in a high-volume setting.
