Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED required.
• Experience: 1+ year welding experience.
• Certifications: Must be a certified welder per AISC D1.1.

Responsibilities

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts using measuring tools.
• Examine workpieces for defects and measure conformance to specs.
• Operate welding equipment and select appropriate processes.
• Prepare material surfaces and preheat when required.
• Analyze drawings to plan layout and welding operations.
• Join parts by bolting, riveting, or welding as required.
