Job summary

Wyatt Field Service seeks Flux Core Welders for an industrial power plant project at Dominion Energy in Goose Creek, SC. Work involves FCAW on 1/2" carbon steel plate in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions, including Inconel flux core welding with ENiCrMo-3 T1-4 (F43) and E71T-1M (F6) electrodes.

Candidates must read weld procedures, inspect welds, and maintain safety standards while working a 6/10 shift schedule. Pre-employment drug test is required and site safety policies apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with FCAW welding in an industrial environment.
• Welding 1/2" carbon steel plate in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions.
• Inconel flux core welding using ENiCrMo-3 T1-4 (F43).
• E71T-1M (F6) FCAW experience.
• Back grind and back weld procedures experience.
• Ability to read weld procedures, blueprints, drawings, specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform flux core welding on 1/2" carbon steel plate in 2G, 3G, 4G positions.
• Perform Inconel flux core welding using ENiCrMo-3 T1-4 (F43) FCAW.
• Perform standard flux core welding using E71T-1M (F6) FCAW.
• Weld in 2G, 3G, 4G positions and back grind/back weld as required.
• Read, interpret welding procedures and blueprints; ensure quality.
