Job summary

OU Health is seeking a Fluoroscopy Tech PRN in the Adult Diagnostic X‑Ray department to perform real-time imaging in invasive and operative settings. The role requires assisting with fluoroscopic procedures, administering contrast, and maintaining sterile technique to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Minimum qualifications include ARRT(RT) certification, 1 year of Fluoroscopy experience, and BLS at hire. On-call coverage may be required outside regular hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT‑accredited imaging program; ARRT(RT) certification required at hire.
• At least 1 year of fluoroscopy tech experience.
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with image-guided procedures using fluoroscopy per protocols.
• Administer contrast safely per protocols.
• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and prepare studies for physician reporting.
• Maintain sterile field and safety standards.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor vital signs.
• Provide patient and family information about tests and timelines.
• Support quality assurance and on-call coverage as needed.
