Job summary

OU Health is seekingAdult Fluoroscopy Techs for Dedicated Surgery. These positions operate in days, 4x10-hour shifts, supporting real-time fluoroscopy in invasive and operative settings to aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment.

Roles emphasize high-quality patient care, safety, and effective team collaboration. Positions are available at multiple experience levels (1–3) with corresponding education and certification requirements, including ARRT(RT) and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging/radiology program (ARRT eligibility accepted).
• Experience ranges 0–3 years (Level 1) to 5+ years (Level 3).
• Current BLS from AHA is required at hire; ARRT(RT) certification within 12 months for Level 1.
• Level 2/3 require ARRT(RT) certification at hire and Associate's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist Providers in image-guided procedures using fluoroscopic methods.
• Administer contrast safely per protocols.
• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and prepare studies for physician reporting.
• Maintain sterile field and patient safety.
• Transfer images to EHR and document findings.
• Support quality assurance and training of new staff.
• On-call coverage as assigned.
