Job summary

cwpnonproviders is seeking a Radiology Tech for an Ambulatory Surgical Center position. You will enter intake data and provider orders into the EMR, prepare patients, and support fluoroscopy procedures with attention to safety and accuracy.

The role requires fluoroscopy experience, a current license, BLS, and strong teamwork and communication to maintain high patient satisfaction. Some travel within the ASC network may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of general fluoroscopy experience.
• Current fluoroscopic certification/license.
• Knowledge of Internet and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent written and oral communication and customer service.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Flexible schedule and ability to handle stressful conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care in ASC setting and ensure patient flow.
• Use beam-restrictive devices and shielding to minimize exposure.
• Position and adjust x-ray equipment for procedures.
• Verify patient information and procedure requests.
• Explain procedures to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Maintain sterile field and prepare supplies for procedures.
• Follow HIPAA, infection control and safety standards.
• Assist in more complex procedures and with radiology staff.
