Job summary

AcaraSolutions is seeking a Fluids Ground Support Equipment (FGSE) Design Engineer in Briggs, TX to help develop launch-site facilities and production equipment across the client's fleet. You will design fluid systems, create P&IDs, select components, and plan for safety equipment.

You will lead fabrication coordination, perform activation testing, participate in design reviews, and maintain compliance with ASME, API, NFPA, NASA SSCMAN standards while traveling up to 30% for site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 2+ years in incompressible and compressible fluid design.
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, or HVAC in design/ops.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, API, NFPA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify ground fluid systems including P&IDs and sizing.
• Coordinate fabrication, installation, and startup of systems.
• Lead design reviews and provide field support during activation.
• Develop maintenance plans and troubleshoot nonconformances.
